Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 - 526 HP - $60,440
Dodge

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat - 717 HP - $60,695
When the second-cheapest car on the list is one of the most powerful, you've got a heck of a deal on your hands. Dodge took the muscle-car game to the next level with the 717-hp Challenger Hellcat.
Chevrolet

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 - 650 HP - $63,995
Borrowing its 650-hp supercharged V-8 from the C7-generation Corvette Z06, the Camaro ZL1 manages to squeeze in as the second-cheapest car on this list. The Challenger Hellcat might be more powerful than this pony car, but we'd bet the Camaro would smoke it on a road course.

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody - 707 HP - $72,095
If you need more practicality than a Challenger can offer, step up to a Charger. You can't have it with a stick, but you are getting one of the fastest sedans in the world, with a top speed of 196 mph. It's a lot cheaper than any European super-sedan, too.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye - 797 HP - $72,295
Yes, this is just a variant of the Challenger Hellcat, but how could we not give the Redeye its own entry? It has nearly 800 horsepower, making it by far the most powerful car on this list.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 - 760 HP - $72,900
The GT500 is a very different proposition than the GT350, but you can't argue with the numbers. Seven-hundred sixty horsepower for under $75,000 is astounding.
Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-AMG C63 S - 503 HP - $75,700
Mercedes's ultimate C-Class just barely made it on the list with 503-hp from its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8. It costs more than all of its rivals, save the Alfa, but it's the most luxurious car on this list. And that V-8 is a monster.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - 505 HP - $74,500
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio costs about as much as the C63 S and has just a bit more power. They couldn't feel more different, though. Where the AMG is luxurious and rapid, the Alfa offers sharp, supercar-like handling. And hey, this 505-hp 2.9-liter V-6 is basically a Ferrari V-8 with two cylinders chopped off.

BMW M550i xDrive - 523 HP - $76,650
It was a big deal when the E60-generation M5 was the first of its kind to crest 500 horsepower. Now, you can get 523 from this M550i, courtesy of a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8. It's not an M5, but it's still a lot of car.

BMW X3 / X4 M Competition - 503 HP - $77,895 / $81,395
The M versions of BMW's X3 and X4 use a new 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six that'll eventually find a home in the new M3 and M4. We'd hold out for the sedan, but the X3's not half-bad looking, and since BMW doesn't make M3 wagons...
Jaguar

Jaguar F-Pace SVR - 550 HP - $80,600
To create its first super SUV, Jaguar took the 550-hp Supercharged V-8 from the F-Type R and stuck it in the F-Pace. We haven't driven it yet, but it should be a riot.
Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S SUV/Coupe - 503 HP - $73,450 / $84,100
Sadly, we don't get the C63 wagon here in the U.S., so if you're looking for something more practical than a C63 sedan, you'll need to go SUV. The GLC 63 S SUV and its fastback coupe sibling take the C63's engine, pairs it with four-wheel drive, and puts it in a taller body.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio – 505 HP – $80,500
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is essentially a Giulia Quadrifoglio in SUV form. It uses the same basic platform and 505-hp twin-turbo V-6, but here, it sends its power to the front and rear axles. It drives a heck of a lot like the Giulia too.
BMW

BMW X5/X6 M50i - 523 HP - $82,800 / $85,650
The base six-cylinder X5 is more than powerful enough, but BMW saw fit to put the same V-8 as the M550i in its mid-size SUV. If you don't think that's enough, there's the new X5 M, but that'll cost over $100,000. And if you want the same basic thing in a less practical package with fussier styling, step up to the X6.
Land Rover

Range Rover Sport Supercharged – 518 HP – $86,500
While not as powerful as the 575-hp Sport SVR, the Range Rover Sport Supercharged gets by fine with 518 horsepower from its 5.0-liter supercharged V-8. Starting at $86,500, it's actually a good deal among SUVs with way more power than necessary.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk – 707 HP – $87,645
The Trackhawk is the most powerful SUV you can buy today, and among its peers, it's a bargain. That Hellcat-sourced 707-horsepower supercharged V-8 also makes the Trackhawk a total speed demon. We love it.
Audi
17 of 19
Audi SQ7 / SQ8 - 500 HP - $84,800 / $89,000
Audi's biggest SUVs just make the cut, putting out exactly 500 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine.
Land Rover

Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic - 550 HP - $90,790
The name of the hottest Velar is long, but don't let you put that off. This is the best looking car Land Rover makes, with a 550-horsepower supercharged V-8. A winning recipe.
BMW

BMW X7 M50i - 523 HP - $99,800
The M50i is the most powerful X7 you can get before upgrading to the mighty Alpina XB7, packing 523 horsepower from its twin-turbo V-8 engine. It skirts just under budget, with a base MSRP of $99,800.
